First of all, I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who commented or emailed to get involved with recipe testing for a new project of mine! I’m still working through them, but aiming to get back to everyone by the end of the weekend, so thanks for your patience if you’re still waiting. It’s made me even more excited about the project, and - of course - to tell you more soon!

This coming week is Ostara, the Spring Equinox, on 20th March and I am so ready for it! This week, the daffodils here seem to have got the memo and are opening all at once, and it’s a joy to behold. When I was thinking about this week’s newsletter, I thought what better way to celebrate than with an ode to the daffodil. Read on to learn about flowery folklore, my favourite varieties, places to see them and tips for growing and arranging the iconic Spring bloom at home.

And, before I forget, if you’re in Edinburgh or nearby, why not come and arrange some flowers with me at the Beltane Seasonal Sanctuary I’m running with Wild Tide Yoga in Tyninghame Village Hall at the start of May! More on that soon.
