In the coming weeks and months I’m very much looking forward to continuing to take you behind the scenes of ‘Slow Seasons’. While I had to keep the book a secret while I was writing it (and it was a very difficult secret to keep!), at every point in the process I made note of snippets I can share and behind the scenes photos as the book took shape. As I mentioned previously, the whole process has been such a fascinating and enjoyable one, and I’d love to demystify how books come to exist in the world. So, to part two: behind the scenes of the publisher auction, how things like advances work, and how I chose which publisher to go with in a series of pinch-me moments!
