Celebrating Ostara with a Spot of Spring Crafting

Following the Celtic Wheel of the Year, this Wednesday 20th March marks the festival of Ostara or the Vernal Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere, when night and day are finally of equal length again. The shift towards lightness and warmth is gathering apace, with temperatures rising and nature truly stirring: daffodils and crocuses are abundant, as well as the first blossoms blooming. Seasonal baking and crafting are my favourite elements of any celebration, so with Ostara coming up this week I thought I would share a suitably Springlike craft with you from my book, Slow Seasons, to give you a flavour of the Ostara chapter.
