This week has been full on, juggling coursework deadlines in my day job and editing in my evenings. A high pressure vocation and the secret project I’m working on mean that life recently has been the opposite of slow living, and I’ve been burning the candle at both ends. Disclaimer: I absolutely don’t have it sorted out. However, these life pinch points remind me of the importance of nature and the seasons for keeping me sane, and of leaning into the smallest of slow moments when I can - cherishing the wee things that can be forgotten in the hustle and bustle of day to day.
