This week’s seasonal craft is one of my favourite makes I’ve created in some time - hand painted wooden eggs. I used things I already had at home - no fancy equipment, just paint samples we had leftover from renovating (with the added bonus that the eggs match some of our decor, haha!) and some old brushes from my school art days. I combined simple brushstrokes together to make these folk-inspired botanical designs. I painted the motifs onto wooden eggs as I wanted them to last forever - a memory of our first Easter as a family of three - but you could easily paint them onto hen’s eggs (boiled or hand blown) or any surface, really!
