Thanks to brassicas, root vegetables, tropical fruits and citrus all being in season, there’s surprising bounty as Winter transitions into Spring around the time of Imbolc at the start of February. It’s as thought these ingredients appear just when we need them, providing sunshine in the kitchen and new season flavour and interest. Here’s my list of in season ingredients in the Northern Hemisphere and my recipes and ideas for making the most of seasonal produce at this transitional time.
