Autumn has arrived in all its fleeting glory; a reminder of natureโs beauty as well as its transience. I always want to capture the spirit of Mabon, my favourite season, and hold onto it a little while longer. And although Iโm trying my best to be present and savour the moment, I also feel an instinct to preserve it. Especially sharing this first Autumn with baby L, I feel I want to press pause, to slow time further and to capture and keep it all. My everlasting leaf garland has a secret ingredient that ensures that these leaves will be preserved in time for many more Autumns to come; while I canโt stop that clock, I can savour the moment in the making of a craft that holds the essence of this special time.
