Slow decorating is all about taking your time, making informed choices, living with things for a while, getting to know the space. Slow decorating is sourcing the perfect item for your needs, saving up for forever pieces, being blessed by the vintage Gods, finding just the right item of furniture for the space that you were looking for. Slow decorating is the antithesis of the mass-produced products and interiors trends we’re fed by modern marketing that can so often make us and our homes feel inadequate, as though we can’t keep up. As Imbolc has been this week, the shifting light and growing energy have made me feel ready to tackle the next part of our tenement renovation. Here’s my slow decorating update about our upcoming bathroom renovation plans.
