This week I’ve been reflecting on how “even slower seasons” would be an apt description for this time in my life, especially when it comes to slow decorating and decluttering. It took me all week to clear out a set of drawers that I might have once sorted in a few hours or maybe over the course of a day - but hey, progress is progress and it’s felt good to chip away at sorting, tidying and resetting things a little at a time. The same goes for our painting projects - Baby L’s room is finally finished and I love it all the more knowing the slow and steady progress it’s taken around caring for him every day, and how he’s been involved every step of the way - he’s loved watching me paint in particular! Here’s how I hand painted the fireplace and all the details from our finished second bedroom.
