This has been a prolific reading month for me: a combination of rubbish weather, needing some escapism, and some very good reads have kept the pages turning in my house! I’ve read a real variety too, which has helped to keep things interesting: a contemporary book inspired by mythology, some humour, an ‘80s classic, and a couple of reads inspired by the big (and small) screen. I suppose what they all have in common is a desire to get lost in stories, of other places, eras, people and their voices.
