Perhaps it comes with being called Rosie, but flowers are among my favourite seasonal markers. And while I love flowers in all seasons - and often even more so when they are scarce - there is something about a high Summer bouquet that will always have my heart. Tracking the seasons through flowers is possible year round, but the very time sensitive, ephemeral nature of the blooms signals Summer to me; its progress tracked as the lilac gives way to peonies, cosmos preceding the dahlias, and so on throughout the sunny months here in the UK. Here are some behind the scenes pictures of some recent flower arranging and a wee garden update too.
