I feel as though here in the UK, the in-between seasons are being slowly eroded over time. Spring took so long to arrive and we’ve still had blustery, cold weather this week in Edinburgh - it really doesn’t feel like May at all, the season of school exams here where fate dictates that the sunniest, warmest days should begin! Autumn also seems to start later and finish earlier as we rush towards Christmas, and it’s such a shame as there’s so much beauty to be to be found in these in-between times of year. Here’s how I’m trying to savour Spring and slow things right down.
