Love this post, so many lovely ideas in there for slowing down. I love the idea of gathering foliage to decorate your home, this is something that I'd love to do with the kids - thanks for the inspiration. Also, taking time out for me amongst the Christmas chaos, I plan to finish my huge crochet blanket, bonus is it keeps me warm whilst I'm crocheting too! Your book sounds fantastic too.
I’m trying a couple of new ideas for upcycling for some gifts. I inherited a box of old and not so old maps of the country. I plan to use them to make covers for notebooks and also try making some origami Christmas trees from them. Fitting this in might be a wee challenge as the diary is silting up.
